The Forum of Innovation The Forum of Innovation was promoted by the Province of Milan following the RITTS Project; the latter project was an experience that promoted the exchange of information, the development of a cultural network, the building up of a consensus among involved parties, as well as the fundamental basis for the promotion of coordinated action and, therefore, effective actions within the metropolitan territory. The Forum of Innovation is a stable coordinating structure which has the following objectives:
From the Forum some concrete results emerged : The "Provincial Competition for Innovation Support, Quality, and Certification Processes for SMEs in the Milanese area" was financed by the Province of Milan. This Competition, as well as, a series of presentations and promotion seminars carried out in the Milanese area are the first concrete results of the Forum activities. Many seminars to promote the experiences realized in the metropolitan territory. The next specific objectives of the Forum concern the promotion of a new Provincial competition for the financing of innovative Milanese SME activities and the drawing up of a new Strategic Plan for the development and the support of innovation in the Province of Milan 2002-2004. The fulfilment of these objectives has been entrusted to the councillor of work and economic activities of the Province of Milan. |
